There is no certainty about the manner in which the service we provide to others will incorporate the highly valued connections between people that Rotary Members had during prior years. Although the phrase "hands-in-space" is undoubtedly part of our daily routine, it is evident that the confidence of our members is increasing and we are able to make more personal interactions. The reality is that Rotary is changing. Rotary has evolved. For the sake of keeping our meetings online, we've reintroduced service as well as social events in a safe face-to-face setting. To build a vibrant new future, we've seized this opportunity and combined them with some of the most efficient pre-pandemic practices. In a recent Rotary survey, we were encouraged to find that 75 percent of clubs are making plans for their "business routine events" The months of summer have seen many club members on the move, focusing on various projects like cleaning the beach and river, litter picking, and of course our ongoing support to the society of Rotary volunteers who volunteer their time and energy to help COVID vaccination and test centres. In a Rotary survey It was encouraging to discover that around 75% are continuing with their previous programs and initiatives that benefit the people from Great Britain. It's great to know that the Rotary Support Centre team is able to provide valuable resources which help with the promotion and maintenance of the infrastructure, keeping people who are members secure. The need for insurance and compliance is equally important. It's thrilling to witness how members of our club have developed innovative solutions for certain of the most challenging challenges. I'm grateful that Rotary offered me the opportunity to become a member in 2002. Rotary, like so other organizations, has provided me with an extensive network of individuals who are committed to my ideals and from whom I have made genuine connections throughout the past twenty years.
